Hopefully she will lay eggs and you will get to see the babies.
I have never found a birds nest in an unusual place, now. I wish I had, I love birds and we have dozens around our yard at any given time.
Hugs, cindyCindyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05984727854409721822noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4658720088249679531.post-68135054974258030632011-04-30T13:13:35.492-04:002011-04-30T13:13:35.492-04:00Hi Shari,

One year, we had a bird build a nest under our second story air conditioner, just inside the window sill. We thought that an odd place, being as the air conditioner would run, and make noise. We let it go, and eventually heard babies in there making all kinds of noise like 5:00 am. I don't know how in the world they managed in that tiny space. The following year, as soon as we put the air conditioner in, once again, there was the bird making a nest inside there. I heard her coming and bringing bits to make the nest. I didn't want another nest in there. I started to remove the pieces, and as soon as I removed them, there they were back again. lol! You could just slide the little extension over and the nest was right there. Finally I guess they gave up, and found a new place, thank goodness. The following year, guess what? Yup, again they came. They must have told their other family members lol We had to finally put a small piece of board in there, so they couldn't get in. I was getting little pieces of the nest coming in the window on the bottom also. I was afraid of spiders or bugs coming in. They also like to take residence in my hanging baskets on my porch in the summer.

DebbiePink Roses and Teacupshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07292534447306279495noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4658720088249679531.post-41414798017511851532011-04-30T12:15:51.539-04:002011-04-30T12:15:51.539-04:00I know exactly what you mean about going through a...I know exactly what you mean about going through a slump. She did not lay eggs in it and we moved it to a safer place hoping she would come back, but she never did.Betty https://www.blogger.com/profile/09718576668233061528noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4658720088249679531.post-26186606381684469562011-04-28T16:37:30.332-04:002011-04-28T16:37:30.332-04:00Yes, a bird built a nest on my front door grapvine...Yes, a bird built a nest on my front door grapvinewreath, you couldn't open the door without mama robin flying out at you.
