You have been on my mind, Shari. Now I know why! Sending hugs and prayers for you. I'm so sorry to hear about Jasmin. Celebrate the memories - they will keep her close, my friend. ~Adrienne~
Oh Shari, I am so sorry to hear about your beautiful Jasmin. My heart goes out to you for I know the pain so very well. I'll say a special pray for you girl.... and do hope your days will be lighter.
Oh Shari How can this happen to us? I read your previous post and know exactly how you feel. I hear you loud and clear. I was going through my older posts when you commented on my mom. I have to look at her again and again to make it real. She's gone and I miss her so so much. We had to put our sweet little degu girl down on Wed. and Bella has a big mass on the bass of her tail. We will have a biopsy done after Christmas. I too know that a couple of my fur babies will be leaving us soon. P.J. is 16 and Sasha and Lucky are 13. I have a total of 7 and having gone through so many deaths, well, it's just not right. I know your Christmas will never be the same, but I hope you know that I'm thinking about you and your hubby right now. Jasmin is beautiful. She's now at Rainbow Bridge. She'll be waiting for her best friend Bo. I pray to god that Bo is getting better. Sending love from Canada Claudie xoxoxoxoxo
Hello Shari, I have a little time to relax this evening and was visiting a few blogs. I am so sorry to read about Jasmin, how sad for you. I've always enjoyed seeing her on your blog, I've had two shepherds that were a twin to Jasmin. I know and love the breed. I know just what your feeling, our Newfoundland was diagnosed with Mega Esophagus, it's just an awful disease for a dog to have, especially a large dog like her. Also our little golden is 16 years old and going down hill fast. I will keep you in my prayers. Hugs, Shirl Shirls Rose Cottage
They are family and leave such a huge gaping wound in us and our "pack"...............My daughter lost her baby girl doggie Dec. 24, she is devastated. Only we dog lovers understand the pain.
Please donate some money ( if you have any left after the vet bills) to some wonderful organization for animals in Jasmin's name. Somehow it helps.
What a majestic beauty she was.............is, she goes on and you will see her again.
I still come here to see if you are going to get back into blogging about your house and your dd's house. Have you filled a part of your heart with a new puppy? Hope all is well with you all. pam
I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 50 years. We have one beautiful and precious daughter, age 41.
After more than 37 years in the workforce, I was fortunate enough to be able to quit my job in 2007 and stay home. As a natural born homebody and "nester," this opportunity to be a full-time homemaker has brought me immeasurable contentment and happiness. I thoroughly enjoy spending each and every day in the cozy comfort of "My Cottage of Bliss."
About the "House in Hooterville": In October 2009, we bought a 30 acre horse farm in a small country town approximately 45 miles from the city where I have lived my whole life. Join me, a city girl through and through, as I try to simultaneously adapt to country life in "Hooterville" and redecorate the 1978 brick ranch-style house on the property into My (new) Cottage of Bliss.
