Nancy’s Bunny
Recently, I was in Goodwill and saw a cute, very large (12 inches long x 10 inches high) ceramic bunny for $5.00. It was in perfect condition…not a chip, crack or mark on it anywhere.
Scattered across her back were pretty hand-painted flowers and leaves.
I turned her over and saw the name, “Nancy,” signed on the bottom. I couldn’t help but wonder how and why Nancy’s sweet bunny ended up at Goodwill.
Thinking I really don’t need one more unnecessary thing to pack up and move to the house in Hooterville, I put the bunny back on the shelf but, as I turned to walk away I swear I heard Nancy’s bunny whisper, almost plead…
“Please take me home with you.”
Don’t worry, Nancy. I adopted the bunny you so beautifully created and she now has a good home with me.

He is so cute, I don't know how anyone could part with him too. At least he as a good home now.

Oh, Shari, I'm so glad you didn't break Nancy's little bunny's heart! What a little cutie! You can always use another bunny! :)
Happy Easter and be a sweetie,

I'm sure you're glad you listened as nancy's little bunny whispered her little plea. I find it to be quite amazing, the enjoyment we can derive from little things like a ceramic rabbit. Have a wonderful Easter weekend with your family. Hugs, Cindy S
Oh how sweet! Every cottage needs a little bunny, especially at Easter.
