The City Girl Goes Country!
About the "House in Hooterville": In October 2009, we bought a 30 acre horse farm in a small country town approximately 45 miles from the city where I have lived my whole life. Join me, a city girl through and through, as I try to simultaneously adapt to country life in "Hooterville" and redecorate the 1978 brick ranch-style house on the property into My (new) Cottage of Bliss.

Well, here in NY it is time to get out the summer clothes and I am not ready! I am enjoying covering up in long sleeves and pants! I can relate!!!

Your german shepherds are beautiful. I'm still kicking myself for not adopting that puppy that followed me with his eyes as I went in and came out of the pet store that day... he was mine and he knew it. I can still see his handsome face! I hope he got a really nice home.
LOL that made me chuckle!!! I gave up a long time ago....weighing myself just became to painful...so I stopped!
