It is my pleasure to be participating in Rhondi’s Porch Party. Please go over to say hello to her at Rose Colored Glasses and then check out all the other bloggers who are welcoming you to their porches too.
Our porch is a covered 8 ft. x 14 ft. open space on the front of our little 1957 ranch-style home.
Many evenings after dinner, my husband and I, and our two German Shepherds, Jasmin and Bo, enjoy sitting out here, watching the world go by.
Sometimes neighbors stop to sit and chat.
Sometimes my husband and I discuss important family issues here.
Sometimes little or no conversation takes place at all because we are simply enjoying the sights and sounds of nature in our urban environment.
Our “landscaping”… such as it is…has no colorful plants or flowers. What tender, pretty blooms we or our hot Florida sun didn’t kill, our dogs would as they root around in the plants stalking the little lizards that are common to our area. To give the front entrance area of our home some color and curb appeal, I change out the decor on the porch at least four times per year to reflect the season or holiday.
Come walk with me through some of the seasonal changes of my front porch.

Oh, I love your porch. It does look so comfortable and such a wonderful place to just sit and enjoy nature. I really like the way you change the colors and accessories for the seasons. Such a good idea. Hugs, Marty
Your cottage of bliss is certainly beautiful. I love your porch and in all seasons. That cute little lizard sure knows a pretty spot to rest.

I'm totally jealous of your porch...I hate having a Colonial style home because I soooo miss a nice porch. And you sure know how to dress yours up!!! I love how you change it around for the seasons...it looks beautiful in each version....but I ADORE that big pot of hydrangeas...that really caught my eye! I also love the little detail around your house numbers...that's very cool to be able to add a splash of color there!
I just love your porch and the colors are so uplifing.
That bunny rabbit is downright tooo cute.

Oh my gosh! YOU go alllll out chickee! How wonderful. Even different house numbers for the different seasons? HOLY COW! Your porch is ever so pretty. I'm sorry, I can't come to the party. I'd love to, but my plants aren't cooperating yet. Too early in the season here in the PNW!.... :-) I'm glad I had the opportunity to enjoy yours though.
Blessings and smiles,
Spencer

Hello Shari, Oh my how beautiful your porch is. The tile floor is just stunning. How cute to show us all seasons. Jasmine and Bo really set it off. I'm really thinking I might be getting another shepherd before to long. I was trying to hold out until I retire. But not if I keep coming to visit you! LOL
Bless you, Shirl

Love visiting your porch throughout all the seasons - how inviting no matter what the time of year! But I just have to say - your 2 shepherds are so beautiful...I was always afraid of dogs so my DH said he would take care of that. My first puppy was a German Shepherd that stole my heart forever. He weighed 110 pounds when fully grown and he served faithfully as a trained sentry dog in Vietnam with the Army. Isn't their intelligence remarkable? We have had pooches ever since though now our 3 shelties are much furrier. Dogs rule! Please visit my front porch in Wisconsin if you have a moment. Have a good week.
I think it is fun that you change it up for all the seasons.
Joyce
Ohhh, I love your porch, can I come for a chat? I love porches. I have one, but it is still under construction, so I will save mine for another time. I will, like you, decorate it with the seasons. Right now it has birds on it. Hugs ~cindy s~
What a pretty porch! I enjoyed going through the seasons. LOVE the color of your home and front door.
Beautiful pets too~
How very clever to change out your porch for the seasons! I love the pretty floral seat covers you have. I certainly can understand what heat and doggies can do to a yard! This year, I am fighting shade. Should be welcomed in HOT Palm Springs, CA - but, flowers don't love the shade either. I think your porch is adorable!
