Do you want to see what was listed on Craigslist that I missed out on because I was ambivalent?
This white French chair with beautiful lines and carved details. Look at those legs!
I know. I’m kicking myself.
Want to know how much they were asking for it?
$80.00.
I know! You can kick me too.
The table was only $45.00.
I thought the chair would probably look really nice in the formal living room at the house in Hooterville with my white matelasse slip-covered sofa and loveseat and other white furniture but I was ambivalent about the shell design on the fabric (even though I love shells).
I hesitated over spending $80 for a really beautiful chair.
Meanwhile, while I was hesitating, somebody else jumped right on it.
Oh, when will I ever learn?

Oh Shari! I have done that many times myself. Then again, on the other hand, I have bought things on an impulse, and ended up taking them back. Did you go look at the chairs?

Hi Shari....
Yep....that's happened to me soooo many times. I'll think....."hmmmm....I really need to think about it"....and 20 seconds later some little tootsie has her hands on the item that I'd decided to spring for....
I'll just betcha that you run across something you like even better!
Huggies,
Spencer
I won't be surprised if there's something out there with your name on it! And you will love it and not have any ambivalent feelings. Can't wait to see what it is!

Bummer. I'd contact the seller anyway. Ask them to give you a call if the deal falls through. That happened with an ebay sale I missed out on once - whoohoo, I ended up winning in the end!!

Sending you a link to a post I made on July 24 2009 about my mistake. The main story is near the end of the post.

Hi Shari!
Visiting you from the White Wednesday Party!
I think we've all probably lost treasures because we think too hard about them. I sure have, many times. But then something better always seems to come around. Keep searching!
