Thrifty Treasures For Blue Monday

Did you enjoy  your holiday weekend?  I hope so.
I spent almost my whole weekend painting.  The living room, dining room, kitchen soffit and hallway are just about complete.  I only have a few touch-ups to do here and there.  Now I’m ready to start the master bedroom this week so I’ll be heading back to Lowe’s again to get a couple samples of the colors I am considering.
Yes, I know you are probably anxious to see the painting progress I’ve made, especially after I teased you about the color I chose for the living room and dining room.  I’ll have the big reveal after the carpenter has finished the crown moldings.
The start of a new week  means it’s time for Today’s Thrifty Treasure’s party, hosted by Rhoda at Southern Hospitality.

Oh my gosh, Shari, I love all of your pictures and blue pottery for your french country cottage bedroom! I believe thrift stores are a cottage lover's best friend, and it's amazing the things you find there - just the "right" things at the right time! You're treasures are such a blessing to all of us that see them, as well as you. Your home is so lucky to have you!

Love the room! I have just recently started reading blogs after discovering Rhoda @ Southern Hospitality.
Your room is just exactly how I would decorate a guest room when we become empty nesters. I have been inspired to start looking for blue and white for my someday room. Awesome job!

Shari, I see what you mean about my B&W going well with yours. BTW, what you saw is only a fraction of my B&W stash lol! I love every single piece. I need another hutch just for my B&W collection!

Your french style bedroom is lovely! I adore what you have done so far! It is really pretty! I'm dying to see what color you painted the rooms!

I'm thinking it's a good thing we don't shop at the same thrift stores...otherwise we'd have to camp out overnight just to beat the other one to the goodies! lol

Oh honey I feel your pain regarding wallpaper. Even our ceilings were wallpapered at the Shabby Old house.
Can't wait to see the completed project. I just know it is going to be good.
