Heirloom White

For large painting jobs, I like to use my Wagner airless sprayer but I’ve got a few smaller painting projects I want to do so I thought I would try “Heirloom White,” which seems to be the most popular choice in Blogland for those who want to paint anything white.
A wild goose chase is what I feel like I’ve been on trying to find this stuff.  I’ve checked Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Lowe’s and Michael’s Crafts…none of which had this particular color.  Interestingly, when I did a retailer search on the Rust-oleum website using my zip code, it shows 3 of those 4 stores I checked carry it.   Huh???
Please share… where do you buy your Heirloom White spray paint?

Hi Shari, I found the paint at Ace Hardware, and used it for my two extra side chairs. However, now that you mention it, when I went back to get more for another project, they were out of it, and I had to buy a different brand. I'll check with them today...maybe it's been discontinued...hope not, because it's really the only one I found that is actually that shade of creamy white. I'll let you know!

Shari, Ace has 5 cans, so I'm going to go buy get them. Try your local hardware stores...I didn't find it at the craft stores, either. If you don't find any, let me know and I'll send you some. Have a great White Wednesday!

Sorry you cannot find it! I bought cheap wal-mart white when I wanted white for a picture frame so I haven't looked for that color! Good Luck!

I have looked for this at HD, Lowes and Walmart all in the last week. No luck. Since I can't find any color of the Home Accents line, I am begining to think that it may be discontinued...

Oops! I meant to say "American" Accents line of Rust-oleum...

Shari,
I just saw it at Home Depot a few days ago. I have to go back there today so if they still have it I'll get you some.

I buy most of my paint from Orchard Supply (which is Ace Hardware). I bought 6 different American Accent spray paints and LOVE them!! They do NOT drip or run! Perfect for picture frames!

I found some at Hobby Lobby, Shari. Lowe's used to carry it but I haven't seen it there in awhile. It is the best white ever! Good luck!
