Nancy over at Southern Lady came up with the best idea for a party. A Shoe Show! If you love shoes (and most women do), you must go over and see what everyone is showing. This should be fun, fun, fun!
Now I have to admit, preparing for this party was a real eye-opening experience.
I had a major revelation.
An epiphany.
As much as I hate to admit it…
I HAVE TOO MANY SHOES!
I knew I had quite a few pairs of shoes. I even suspected I was a “shoe-aholic.” But once I started taking them out of the closet and photographing them one-by-one for this post…oh good grief! And I’ve only shown you about 80% of them here!
Considering most of my work wardrobe went with black shoes, I was also quite surprised to see I only had 6 pairs of black shoes I wore to work regularly (7 if you count the black pair with the hot pink trim, and 9 pairs if you count the 2 pairs of black boots I sometimes wore in the colder months). But for some strange reason, I have 9 pairs of white, cream or camel work shoes! It left me wondering what the heck I wore with all of those white, cream and camel shoes! ??? Certainly not anything brown because brown is not a becoming color on me.
Preparing for this post also made me acutely aware that shoes can be a direct reflection of where we are in our life, or what is happening in it. As our life circumstances change, so do our shoes. Or at least mine did. Drastically!
Okay, so here we go. Let the Shoe Show begin!

Oh girl out of all the shoes I have to say the best are the bare feet ones ha ha!! I love to run around bare footed and never wear shoes in my house...I leave them at the door and I got Len trained to do the same...Good grief girl I don't wnat to shampoo carpet ha ha!! don't you just love being non-working...I know I sure do its the best job I ever had...May you have a great week my friend and I'll talk to you when I get back take care....Hugs and smiles Gl♥ria

Great post! You definitely have good taste in shoes. I think my favorites are the bone colored Bandolinos (?) and the camel suede boots.
Shari, I just about died laughing when I saw this post! Too cute. I didn't have that many pair of shoes when I was working, and never any with that high of a heel! They are quite "chic"!
First off, a girl can NEVER have too many shoes. Get that thought right out of your head. Second, if you DO feel that you have too many and need to get rid of your "pre-retirement" shoes, you feel free to send them all to me because I think they are lovely. The black and pink pair are precious and those zebra boots are fab!
I LOVE every single pair of flip-flops you have. I live in them myself. But I have to say that I also loved all of your boots. Now I can also get into that. You were quite creative in how you displayed your shoes. This was such a fun shoe party.
